What is recorded here

Half a metre of raised earth marks the western edge of a grassy circle perched on a drumlin in Lisgorman. The rest has surrendered to field banks and forgotten time, leaving a D-shaped shadow rather than a clear wall. People may have stood inside, watched the plain, or departed before the soil settled. The land kept the shape long after the hands that made it disappeared.

Situated on top of a drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered D-shaped area (dims 29m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a scarp (max. H 0.5m at W). There is no visible fosse or entrance, and the monument is truncated by a field bank and ditch at S (L 19m).
