Lisdrumskea holds a broad earthen chamber where two banks frame a shallow ditch, creating a trap for memory rather than a home for people. The outer wall wears modern stone scars while the inner wall keeps an eastern gap, inviting entry into a space the fairies never intended to share.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 28.7m) enclosed by two earthen banks with wide, shallow, intermediate fosse. Outer bank which is enclosed by a modern trench, has been scarped and faced externally with stone, in modern times. Break in inner bank with accompanying causeway at ESE probably represents original entrance. However there is no corresponding break in the outer bank.
