Fairy fort in Lisdarragh, County Monaghan: an overgrown 40m ring with earthen bank, outer fosse and a possible narrow north-west gap, set on the west shoulder of a small east-west drumlin. People may have lived, kept stock or marked territory there before the field took it back; the fairies, according to local story, never left.

Located on the W shoulder of a small E-W drumlin. This is an overgrown circular area (diam. 40m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at W: Wth of base 3.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.6m), and an outer fosse (at W: Wth of top 5.4m; Wth of base 1.3m; ext. D 0.4m) that is absent S-W and probably re-cut NW-E-S. The entrance may be the gap (Wth of base 1m) at NW.
