Fairy forts are earthen rings built by humans, yet local story claims they belong to hidden lives because the shapes appear suddenly and resist ordinary explanation. Lisacullion is no exception: its bank stands on a drumlin, narrow at the top and wider at the base, with a southern gap that invites entry rather than warns against it. The measurements sound clinical, but the place does not feel like a survey. It feels like a room left behind, its walls thick enough to keep out rain and memory, its small diameter forcing everyone inside to stand close enough to hear what the dark is holding back.

Situated on top of a drumlin. This is a grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 27m N-S; 26m NW-SE) defined by a furze-covered earthen bank (Wth of base 4.5-4.8m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.2m at NW to 2m at SE), with slight traces of an outer fosse (at SE: Wth c. 2m; ext. D 0.2m) at SE.
