Lios Deargáin is a 24.4-metre earthen ringfort on level ground at the inner edge of the broad low-lying valley that surrounds Trabeg. It lies where three fields still meet, its irregular boundary partly earth, partly stone and now partly ordinary fence. The south-east bank has almost vanished into the ground, leaving no clear entrance and no warning that this was once a complete enclosure.

Internal diam. 24.4m This univallate rath is located on level ground at the inner edge of the broad low-lying valley that surrounds Trabeg. It lies at the junction of 3 (formerly 4) fields, and the enclosing element, now used as a field fence, has been modified and possibly completely replaced in parts. It is irregular in outline and consists of a combination of earthen bank, earthen bank with internal or external stone revetment and stone walling with an earthen core. It is a maximum of 1.35m high externally and 1.15m high internally, but the bank in the SSE sector rises only .1 to .2m above the interior. No clearly-defined entrance is preserved.
