Hut site in An Rinn Bhuí — Report the wrong picture

An Rinn Bhuí holds a rectangular hut inside the bank of Lisnarahardin, facing east above Trabeg. Its collapsed stones still mark a small living space, while the western wall has flattened into the ground. The rath also carries a local story about an underground passage, giving the quiet field a hidden depth beneath its ordinary surface.

Lisnarahardin/Lios na Rátha Áirde: Circular bivallate rath KE043-239---- contains traces of 3 or 4 hut-sites and also reputedly contained a Man-made underground passage (OSNB Cloghane, book 2, 8). It is situated on a slightly elevated tract of level ground overlooking Trabeg. A rectangular hut (KE043-239005-) lies in the shelter of the bank at E. It measures 3.5m x 2.8m internally and is enclosed by a 1.15m wide band of collapse. The entrance may have been located in the W wall which is almost completely levelled.
