Fairy fort in Lettera, island Ed, County Galway, Ireland: an oval earthen rath, forty metres long and twenty-seven wide, on a grassy hillock, its eastern bank still proud while the rest has softened into a degraded scarp. A field wall cuts through the northeast and southeast, dividing what may have been a boundary, a trap, or a living edge. The shape remains clear enough to walk, measure, and imagine: a small fort, half forgotten, still holding its line against the grass.

On the summit of a hillock in grassland. Very poorly preserved oval rath (E-W 40m, N-S 27m) defined by an earthen bank at E, and elsewhere by a degraded scarp.
