What is recorded here

Thirty-seven metres across in low-lying Letter land, the earthen bank still stands half to nearly two metres high, enclosing a gently sloping basin that may have held homes, herds or hidden rituals before memory faded. Its width at the base, about six metres, suggests more than a child’s mound; it is the scale of neighbours, decisions and repeated use. The fairness of its shape and the patience of its preservation leave room for wonder about who lived there, what they kept inside and why the ground still holds their outline.

Internal diameter 37m N-S, 36m E-W A univallate rath situated in low-lying land NW of Littor House. The enclosing earthen bank is well preserved, with exterior heights of between .5m- 1.8m. The internal height above the interior is c 1m high and the average width at the base is 6m. The interior is gently sloping SE. The above description is derived from C.
