Fairy fort in Lerhin, County Galway: a shallow earthen ring, thirty-one metres across, still set in a grassy slope. Quarrying bit into one edge and later carts or people opened holes in the bank, yet the circle remains visible enough to read at a glance. It may have been a farmyard, a boundary marker, a child’s running game or a forgotten house; the earth keeps its shape while the story leaks away.

On N-facing slope of a rise in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (NE-SW 31m) defined by a bank. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at NW.
