Mnemo knows the advantage of height. She shaped the drumlin into a circular fort with a causeway at E, giving her a clear view in every direction. The fairies did not build blindly; they measured the land and answered what the land showed.

Located on the summit of a drumlin. This is a raised and circular but overgrown area (diam. 27m WNW-ESE; 26m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at N: Wth of base 4.7m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 2.7m) and outer fosse (at N: Wth of top 3.6m; Wth of base 1.7m; ext. D 1.6m), with an outer field bank SW-WNW. The widened entrance (Wth of base 2.8m) and widened causeway (Wth of top 4.7m; H 1.3m) are at E. The rath (MO014-017----) is c. 100m to the SSE.
