What is recorded here
Leamnaguila holds a vanished ringfort, a circular enclosure thirty metres across that men built on a south-west facing slope. The earth has swallowed the wall, leaving only a shallow depression where shadows gather at dusk. Fairy forts demand silence because they remember the shape of human ambition even when pasture and time erase the stone.
In pasture, on a SW-facing slope. This rath is indicated on the 1894 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). It is levelled and a slightly concave depression (diam. c. 24m) is visible in the area of site.
