The site occupies undulating pasture on a ridge slope and contains a raised circular area measuring twenty-two metres across. Two substantial earthen banks enclose the centre, with a stoned entrance through the inner bank at the north-east. A possible underground passage remains in the northern half of the interior.
In undulating poorly drained pasture, on the NE-facing slope of a ridge and completely surrounded by field boundaries. A raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by two substantial earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank (Wth 6.4m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.9m) has internal stone facing. The fosse is mostly infilled, boggy and supports a growth of rushes and is truncated by a field boundary SE-SW. The outer bank (Wth 6.8m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.9m) is evident NE-SE and SW-NW, truncated by a field boundary SE-SW and possibly at N. There is a stoned-faced entrance (Wth 2.6m) through the inner bank at NNE. There is a possible Man-made underground passage (SL027-016002-) in the N half of the interior.
