Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lackan is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lackan, County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular platform has broadly sloping sides and possibly represents the remains of a rath. A stone mound containing one massive boulder sits at the eastern edge, while a man-made underground passage opens within the north-east quadrant.
Situated on a low rise in lowlying pasture. Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Raised circular flat-topped rise (diam. c. 30m, top c. 20m) defined by broadly sloping sides, possibly representing the remains of a rath. At the E edge of the top of the platform is a mound (dims. 6m x 5.5m; H 1.4m) of small and large stones, incorpating one massive boulder (H 0.8m; dims. 2.3m x 0.6m). Within the NE quadrant of the platform is an opening to a Man-made underground passage (SL016-068002-).
