What is recorded here

Situated on a SW-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 26m NE-SW) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 1.7m) mainly reduced to a scarp with traces of a shallow external fosse. A field fence intersects the E sector of the site on a N-S axis destroying the bank and part of the interior. No entrance feature visible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
