Knockraha East held a thirty-five-metre earthen ring on a sun-facing slope, large enough to exclude every unwanted creature and honest enough to be forgotten once people stopped fearing it. Cattle may have grazed the levelled ground while believing they understood the shape beneath their hooves.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m). Levelled; no visible surface trace.
