What is recorded here

Knockogonnell holds a circular rath thirty-point-eight metres across, its denuded bank and northern fosse still marking the boundary where grassland begins. The earth has softened the edges, yet the shape resists forgetting. A neighbouring ringfort and enclosure wait nearby, suggesting a settled landscape rather than a lonely marker. The fairies may have taken the name, but human hands built the circle.

A ringfort (GA007-089----) lies c. 130m to E and an enclosure (GA007-092----) lies c. 150m to SSE.
