What is recorded here

Knocknakilla held a double-fenced fort on John Harrington's land until his father removed it about 1875. The 1842 map still shows a thirty-metre circular enclosure on the west-facing slope, but a field fence now cuts through the place where the fort stood. Any underground passage mentioned in the inventory remains unproven, leaving the site as a forgotten shape rather than a visible ruin.
