On reclaimed grassland on the S bank of the Camoge River, which marks townland boundary with Ballincarroona. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised roughly circular-shaped platform (diam. c. 24m) defined by a scarp with fosse and bank from NE-S-NW and an outer fosse with scarp from NE-S-SW. Outline of tree-covered monument (overall diam. c. 67m) visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. Access road to water treatment plan transects earthwork at N on an E-W axis with buildings immediately to E visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
