Knockduff holds a forty-metre earthen ring atop a narrow ridge, visible only through faint soil marks and low rises that suggest a levelled bank. The earth has swallowed most of the structure, leaving behind a ghostly arc rather than a solid wall. This is a place where human ambition met regional stubbornness, creating a boundary so thin it became a rumour.

In pasture, atop NW-SE ridge. Soil mark (AP, Dr. D.D.C. Pochin Mould) shows arc SSE->N of possible circular enclosure. Low rise to N and S may indicate levelled bank (diam. c. 40m).
