What is recorded here

Knockaunnagat holds a worn oval rath on a grassy ridge, its earth scarped and cut by a passing road. The fort is small enough to walk around in minutes yet large enough to suggest families, herds or arguments beneath an open sky. Its name invites fairy tale, but the visible truth is human labour shaped by time into a shallow ring.

On the summit of a ridge in grassland. Poorly preserved oval rath (NE-SW 38m, NW-SE 34m) defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. A road cuts the monument at NW and SE, and no visible surface trace of the enclosing elements survives to NE of it.
