Knockastuckane holds a thirty-metre earthen ring where human hands shaped the slope before memory faded. The bank still rises one metre sixty externally, dropping into a shallow external ditch, while the interior remains level under pasture. It joined four other ringforts on the same land when Bowman counted them in 1934, suggesting a neighbourhood rather than a lonely experiment. The fairies may have taken the name, but the earth keeps the human measure: a clear circle, made to stand against weather and time.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map; arc formed by hachured bank survives SSE->WSW on 1904 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Circular area (30.5m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.6m) SSE->WNW, with external fosse surviving as slight slope down to base of bank; low rise elsewhere. Interior level. One of five levelled and partially levelled ringforts (CO030-043---; CO030-045---; CO030-048---; CO030-050---) recorded by Bowman (1934, 280) on Mr Leader's land.
