What is recorded here

Knockaphonery holds a circular earthen ringfort on a north-facing slope, its thirty-metre diameter marked by a low bank and partial ditch. Conifers now crowd the interior, choking the view but not the shape. The stones and soil remain clear enough to walk around, even if the purpose has blurred into legend.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (32.6m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.8m); external fosse (D 0.5m) NNE->NW. Interior planted with conifers.
