Fairy fort in Knockanare, County Cork, is a circular earthwork with a 30-metre diameter, a 1.9-metre-tall bank, and a 1.2-metre-deep fosse. It stands in pasture with a break to the west. The shape suggests a defended home, a boundary marker, or a place where people gathered when the land was busier.

In pasture. Circular area (diam. 30m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.9m) with external fosse (D 1.2m). Break in bank to W. Hartnett (1939, 198) noted 'traces of an outer rampart'; no visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
