Knockananig holds a twenty-two-metre earthen ring on a steep slope, forcing its builder to cut the south side into the hill and raise the north side to keep the interior level. That much work suggests a busy home rather than a temporary marker, yet the bank stands less than a metre high today. The fairies may have taken the shape, but human hands cleared the stones, dug the trench and carried soil until the circle could resist the rain.

In pasture, on NNW-facing slope, just NW of farmyard. Roughly circular area (22m N-S; 21m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.9m) S->SE. Entrance (Wth 3m) to NE.
