Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilrush Upper is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilrush Upper, County Westmeath, Ireland. The site sits on a low ridge in grassland and is depicted as an earthwork on Larkin’s 1808 map of County Westmeath. An oval area measuring twenty-two metres north-northeast to south-southwest and thirty-two metres east-southeast to west-northwest is enclosed by a low earthen bank and a shallow external fosse. The interior rises toward the centre where a rectangular house site is visible, and a possible causewayed entrance gap is located at the west.

Situated on a low ridge in grassland. Depicted as an earthwork on Larkin’s map 1808 map of County Westmeath (NLI, MS 46,580 ). An oval shaped area (diam. 22m NNE-SSW; 32m ESE-WNW) enclosed by a low earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m) and shallow external fosse (Wth 1.2m; ext. D 0.3m). The interior rises towards the centre where a rectangular house site (WM009-019001-) is visible. Possible causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2.3m) at W.
