Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilmeen,moyleen

Kilmeen,moyleen holds a faded circular rath, thirty-five metres across, where a boundary wall now cuts through what was once a complete earthen ring. The bank has thinned to a whisper under grass and time, but the shape remains clear enough to imagine lives lived inside it. Fairy fort is the local name, yet human hands built it, and human feet likely worn its entrance smooth before the wall arrived.
