No fairies are recorded there, though people may have believed it. The earth and stone still mark a small fortified place at the foot of Claragh Mountain, shaped to the hill rather than laid out like a room.

In pasture, on SSE-facing slope, at foot of SE side of Claragh Mountain. Circular area (38.6m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.5m) SW->ESE; scarp (max. H 2.4m) elsewhere; external fosse (D 1.5m) SW->NW. Bank stone-faced in parts; entrance (Wth 3m) to E. Interior slopes down to SSE; raised on SE side to compensate for hillslope.
