What is recorded here

A broken ring of earth and stone circles the grass, waiting for the door to reopen. Killycarney keeps its shape beside the field boundary, unchanged since people last walked through the gap. The fairies never left; they are still arranging the stones, saving the fort for the day it is needed again.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone. Break in bank at ENE probably represents original entrance. A modern field boundary running WNW-ESE divides the site into two unequal portions.
