Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Killeline

Half the circle is lost under a modern field boundary, but the surviving earthen bank and shallow ditch still mark a round room set into a south-facing slope. The interior remains level and marshy, suggesting water once gathered where cattle now graze. People may have lived inside this small ring before the land was divided, using the bank for warmth and the ditch for drainage. The missing half does not erase the shape; it only reminds the eye that human borders keep moving across older ones.
