Killeena is a lost circular enclosure, now only a faint shadow in the soil where a road once cut across it. A twenty-metre ring of earth and stone, it stood on a sunny slope until ploughs and wheels unmade it. The land still betrays the shape through crop growth and scattered rock, remembering what human hands forgot.

In tillage, on S-facing slope. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) abutted by SW-NE roadway. A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Killeena, likely dating to the early medieval period, is represented by a circular enclosure shown on the 1842 Ordnance Survey map, with traces of stone and crop marks indicating its position. Local tradition associates such sites with fairy folklore, and they were often considered sacred or inhabited by otherworldly beings in Irish tradition.
