Fairy fort in Killeagh, County Cork: a 29m earthen ring on a SE slope, with two gaps and a hidden eastern passage. People may have lived there, feared the dark tunnel, or ransacked it for stones. The field and forgotten tunnel still keep the shape of that choice.

In tillage, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (29m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (max. H 1.55m). Gap in bank to E (Wth 3m) and SW (Wth 3.5m). Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope. Man-made underground passage (CO065-006801-) on E side.
