Killaghteen held a thirty-metre earthen ring on an east-facing slope before ploughs erased it. The field boundary still kinks where the fort stood, marking a forgotten line of exclusion or ownership. cattle graze above the buried bank now, unaware they trot inside a vanished room.

In pasture, on slight E-facing slope. Monument, depicted on 1924 OS 6-inch map as circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 30m), has been levelled.
