What is recorded here

Kilkeran holds a circular earthen fort thirty-six metres wide, topped by a three-metre bank and surrounded by a shallow ditch. It sits atop a ridge in open pasture, facing east with a causeway cutting through the bank. People may have lived there, watched the land or kept animals inside the ring before the stones and soil faded into local legend. The shape still marks the edge between human memory and fairy storytelling.
