Kilgarriff holds a forgotten ringfort where a thin earthen bank still curves through pasture beside the Feelge. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the shape appeared and disappeared under grass and rain. A small dwelling, a boundary marker or a child's climbing hill would all fit the evidence. The land kept the circle long after human hands stopped shaping it.

In flat lowlying pasture on E side Feelge River valley. Circular area (diam. c. 22m) overgrown and inaccessible. Low earthen bank to E (H 0.35m). Known locally as ringfort.
