Kilcooly North holds a fifty-one-metre earthen ring, ploughed until it became a faint shadow in the soil. The land turned the boundary into a living line of colour, visible only when rain or sunlight touched the field. People may have stood inside that circle, watched the horizon, and left behind a shape the earth still remembers.

Internal diameter 51m N-S and E-W Situated one field NE of KE015-096---- in a freshly ploughed field, this site has a good view in all directions. This univallate rath is almost completely ploughed out, but can still be distinguished by the different colours in the soil. It consists of a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank which is low and wide; though ploughed, it still rises to a height of .3m. The above description is derived from C.
