No visible trace remains at Kilcloher, though the lost ringfort still belongs to the land beneath the grass. That absence is not a mistake; it is a reminder that human markers come and go while the living world continues unchanged. What is missing is not a failure of knowledge but a boundary of human perception. The place still exists, but it no longer speaks through the kind of form people are used to seeing.
