Kilbreanbeg holds a forty-metre earthen ring on a NW-facing slope, its causeway entrance still pointing west while dense overgrowth swallows the far bank. The structure cuts into the upslope and rises at the down slope to stay level, proving human hands shaped the hill rather than the hill happening by chance. Large boulders lie scattered in the outer fosse like a failed attempt to erase the boundary, yet the circular chamber remains clear enough to walk around and imagine occupied.

In pasture, on a NW-facing slope. A raised circular area (diam. c. 40m) defined by a scarp (H c. 2m), by an intervening fosse (Wth 2.7m), by an outer earthen bank (Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.6m), and by an outer fosse (Wth 1.4m; D 0.8m) NE-WNW. There is a causeway entrance at W. The surface of the interior is uneven and the enclosing elements NNE-SSE are obscured by dense overgrowth. Large boulders are heaped haphazardly in the outer fosse. The rath is raised at NW and is cut into the upslope at SE to compensate for the hillslope.
