What is recorded here

Located c. 1.2km SW of Kilcummin village to the W of a minor road. An abandoned two-storey, double gable-ended house. The front elevation is E-facing and of five bays with a central one-bay. The central door has a semicircular fanlight and sidelights and a Venetian window overhead. Other window opes are rectangular with sash frames. There is a chimney on each of the four gables. There is a roofless two-storey projection at right angles to the rear. The house is of 18th-century appearance; according to local information, its rear section is the oldest. There is an adjacent walled garden to the W, a farmyard with stone outhouses to the NW and a ruined one-storey gate lodge c. 300m to the S.
