What is recorded here

Keeloges West holds a subcircular rath thirty-four metres long, defined by two banks and a central fosse. It stands in level grassland overlooking bog to the south and west, preserving its southern edge while northern stone has been taken elsewhere. The fort is not a fairy tale but a human boundary, marking where residence, defence or claim once stood before quarrying changed its shape.

The enclosing elements are best preserved in S half; elsewhere the monument has been extensively quarried.
