What is recorded here

Inchinapallas holds a forgotten ringfort where two earthen banks still guard a circular space thirty-five metres wide. People called it a fairy fort because the interior became so overgrown that human memory retreated before imagination. That gap is not emptiness. It is the moment when testimony stopped and story began.

In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope, c. 90m to NNE of levelled circular enclosure (CO027-074---). Circular area (diam. c. 35m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.6m) partially planted with deciduous trees. Intervening fosse U-shaped in profile. Outer bank (H 1.6m) skirted by shallow fosse (D 0.3m) on S side. Interior inaccessible due to overgrowth.
