Internal diameter 36m NW-SE This site is situated in the corner of a field. Three townland boundary fieldbanks touch it to the S: Loughanes, Ballydonoghue and Guhard South. All that remains of this univallate rath is a semi-circular area enclosed by an earth and stone bank. It is bounded on the NE side by a fieldbank running NE-SW. Another fieldbank cuts through the W to SE sector of the fort. No surface trace remains on the S side of this fieldbank. The enclosing bank measures 1.4m both externally and internally. The width of the bank at the base measures 3m on average. The entrance lies to the E and is 5.6m wide. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
