Fairy forts are not for human habitation. They are for the hidden people, the ones who do not show themselves, the ones who watch the land from beneath it. A ringfort is a human shape. A fairy fort is a living shape. The difference is not size or age. The difference is that the land still breathes inside it. That is why the boundaries must remain clear. That is why the chamber must remain stable. That is why the door must open and close without forcing the world to notice.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 34m) enclosed by a low earthen bank and slight indications of a fosse, identifiable only from SW-NW. Modern laneway cuts along the bottom of the embankment from NW-ENE. Original entrance not recognisable.
