What is recorded here

No wall or ditch remains in Granshagh, yet the earth still shadows itself beneath crops where a ring once stood. That absent circle appeared on maps in 1841 and 1916, then fled human sight until aerial photography recovered its ghost in 1974. The land is not empty; it is keeping a shape that ordinary walking overlookes.

This circular enclosure lies SE of KE015-057---- and is marked on the 1841-42 and 1916 OS maps. It also shows up as a crop mark on the Geological Survey of Ireland's aerial photographs (1974).
