Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Grange (athlone South By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Grange (athlone South By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The subcircular grass-covered area measures 33 metres north-south and retains an earthen bank with slight fosse traces on opposite sides. Quarrying disturbed the remaining perimeter, and no original entrance is identifiable. A separate rath lies 200 metres south-southwest.
Marked as a circular feature only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a rise in an undulating landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (diam. 33m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.75m) and slight traces of a fosse (Wth of base 2.7m) SSE-SW and NNW-NNE. Elsewhere the perimeter has been disturbed by quarrying. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO044-075----) is c. 200m to the SSW.
