Fairy fort in Graig, County Limerick: a 31.5-metre earthen ring, its bank worn to half a metre, still holding its shape beneath pasture. People called it a fairy fort because the shape remained when everything else had blurred. Maybe it marked a home, a boundary, or a place where the ordinary and the hidden stopped arguing.
In pasture. Roughly circular area (31.5m NE-SW) enclosed by eroded earthen bank (H c. 0.5m) with barely perceptible external fosse. A field boundary abuts bank at E. Level interior under pasture.
