Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Gragaugh is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Gragaugh, County Tipperary, Ireland. The slightly raised circular platform measures 24 metres north-south and 21 metres east-west. A half-metre scarp and a shallow external ditch define its edge, but both are cut through at the south on an east-west axis. No entrance or other feature is visible.
In grassland on a W-facing slope of N-S ridge in upland region overlooking stream to W, good views in all directions. Possible moated site (TS055-049----) 140m to N. Ringfort consists of a slightly raised circular platform (int. diam. 24m N-S; 21m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.5m) and external fosse (base Wth 1.5m; top Wth 5m ; ext. D 0.3m) both of which are intersected at S on an E-W axis. No entrance feature, no other features visible.
