Fairy fort in Gortygeeheen, County Clare: an earthen ringfort, a rath, still standing where human hands shaped the land long before maps or museums. People may have lived, hidden, worshipped or played inside its ridge, while later callers called it a fairy fort because the old use became unclear. The earth remembers more than pride or fear admits.
