Fairy fort in Gortnacrusha South is a slightly raised circular pasture marked by a 1.3m earthen bank on its north and east sides. The bank still stands beside the roadway, its outer north face reinforced with stone, while the west edge melts into an ordinary undulation. People may have lived there, excluded others, or simply marked the slope before human memory; the earth retains the shape of that decision.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Slightly raised, roughly circular area defined by earthen bank (H 1.3m) to N and E; undulation to W. Bank stone-faced externally to N; respected by roadway to E.
