What is recorded here

Half a dozen metres of rammed earth and stone still stand on the Galway rise, marking a home old enough to predate written memory. The circle is not perfect, but it is not erased either. It is the kind of place where a family may have lived, argued, buried its dead and been forgotten, while the grass kept the shape of their walls.

On a rise in undulating grassland. Almost circular ringfort (N-S 31.3m, E-W 30.5m), in fair condition, defined by a degraded bank of earth and stone, best preserved from SE to E and at W.
