Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Gorteenashingaun is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Gorteenashingaun, County Tipperary, Ireland. It sits on a ridge in an upland area with good views to the northwest. An old map draws it as a small oval enclosure, but a field fence crosses its southern edge on an east-west axis. The earthwork is not visible at ground level today.
Situated on top of a ridge in an upland area with good views to the NW (Stout 1984, 58). Depicted as a small oval-shaped enclosure on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map with a field fence intersecting the site at S on an E-W axis. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
